TODAY 30s Cloudy with occasional snow showers or flurries. TONIGHT 20s Cloudy with a few flurries early. TUESDAY 30s/low 40s Cloudy early, then some sun late. 12-hour forecast 24-hour forecast 7-Day Forecast Wind Chill Satellite & Radar Almanac Good morning. The main part of the winter storm from yesterday is well east of us, but wrap-around energy and moisture will bring more light snow to the region today. The wind will continue to be quite strong from the northwest, so with highs in the middle to upper 30s the wind chill will be in the 20s at the warmest part of the day. As far as the snow goes, there could be spots near the Rolla area that get perhaps an inch, but most locations will not see accumulation. A few snow showers will continue to be possible tonight with clouds remaining for most of us. The wind will stay up so we could see single-digit wind chills by Tuesday morning. Clouds will break late in the day before returning by late Wednesday. We may see a few showers by Friday or Saturday but these systems don't look to be major ones. We'll gradually warm up with highs back to 60 or better this weekend.

TODAY Mainly 40s Mostly sunny but cool. TONIGHT 30s Mostly clear. THURSDAY 60s Mostly sunny & much warmer. 12-hour forecast 24-hour forecast 7-Day Forecast Wind Chill Satellite & Radar Almanac Good morning! A large upper trough is spinning over the Great Lakes this morning. We're getting what amounts to a "backlash" of colder air today, and most of us will see a decrease in highs compared to Tuesday. Surface high pressure will move overhead later today and the wind will come down as well. Tonight that wind will turn to the southeast, keeping us in the lower 30s much of the night. On Thursday a wave of upper energy will move just north of us, bringing a few clouds. A southwest wind will blow and bring a nearly 20-degree jump in our highs. Friday will be even warmer with most of us in the lower to middle 70s. A cold front will move in fairy early Saturday, but it will be dry initially. How far south this front gets will impact both temperatures and our rain chance, as the rain will fall north of the front Saturday night and Sunday. If the front stalls closer to the Arkansas line the Ozarks could end up fairly dry with this system with the rain centered over central and northern Missouri. If the front drops into central Arkansas the...

TODAY 50s Early freezing drizzle, then afternoon clearing west-to-east. TONIGHT 30s Partly cloudy. TUESDAY Low 60s Variable clouds, windy, and still chilly. 12-hour forecast 24-hour forecast 7-Day Forecast Wind Chill Satellite & Radar Almanac Good morning! A nice soaking rain fell over much of the region yesterday, and now we will deal with the cold and wind behind the front that brought it. There is some freezing drizzle early this morning, and a few slick spots are likely on mainly bridges and the like. While it will be a cold day, it will be above freezing so the problem of any slick roads will be fairly short lived. The wind will be blowing from the northwest too, so it won't even feel as warm as we actually get, which should be in the low 40s for most. Another wave of energy will dive south on Tuesday bringing clouds and even windier conditions. Wednesday should be the transition day, with another big warm-up for late this week. For the coming weekend, models are not even close to each other. Right now it looks to me like another chance of rain will show up late Saturday night and Sunday.
