NEW YORK, NY - It comes as no surprise that Texas A&M quarterback Johnny "Football" Manziel won the Heisman Trophy Friday night. It came with a little history as well--he is the first freshman to win college football's most prized individual award. The redshirt freshman beat out Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o and Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein. Te'o would have been the first defensive player to receive the award. Klein would have been the first player from Kansas State to ever with the award.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - A geography lesson is always needed before a university joins a new conference. Aggie Outfitters is apologizing for an error in the design of a new t-shirt to celebrate Texas A&M's new Southeastern Conference affiliation. It received Twitter buzz after NBC Sports' Darren Rovell re-tweeted a picture. There is one problem with the t-shirt. Well, two or three. The t-shirt features a map of the SEC states. However, it does not include Texas nor Missouri. Missouri is also joining the conference in July. The map also includes North Carolina, a state that has no SEC schools.
