TONIGHT Low 60s Partly Cloudy with patchy fog by morning SATURDAY Mid 80s Partly to Mostly Cloudy with an isolated storm possible along the Missouri Arkansas line SUNDAY Mid 80s Partly to Mostly Cloudy with isolated storms developing along the Missouri Kansas line. 12-hour forecast 24-hour forecast Satellite & Radar Wind Chill Allergy Index Almanac Summer Heat and Humidity Warm south winds have returned summer heat and humidity to the Ozarks. High temperatures took a big jump from yesterday's 60s. This weekend readings will top out in the mid 80s for most of us but I would still not be surprised to see one or two communities hit 90. If it does get that warm then an isolated storm is possible.

TODAY 50s/60s Mostly sunny and warm. TONIGHT 20s/30s Mostly clear WEDNESDAY 50s Increasing clouds, but still warm 12-hour forecast 24-hour forecast 7-Day Forecast Wind Chill Satellite & Radar Almanac Good morning! Temperatures have been extremely tricky this winter, mainly in that we have often been warmer than expected. Monday we hit 60° in Springfield and will likely do it again today. This morning we're actually colder than expected by a few degrees, particularly over central Missouri where it's in the low 20s. We'll see a few clouds through the day and highs will be in the 50s to lower 60s with the warmest air over Arkansas. Another front will move through late tonight but the coldest of this air will miss us to the east. Low-level moisture will begin surging in tomorrow, and how fast this happens will determine just how warm we get, as the moisture will bring low clouds to the region from south to north. We'll have rain showers on Thursday and perhaps even a few rumbles of thunder, but even with this highs will be in the 50s. In fact we'll likely stay in the 50s through Sunday before the next rain-maker. Models are quite different going into next week, as they handle the interaction of the two just streams a bit differently. ...
