A news release says the project will provide "a safe, reliable source of potable water" for Mid-Am Metal Forming, which specializes in bending and forming metals for the architectural, aerospace and marine industries. Mid-Am Metal Forming is a mile east of Rogersville along Business Route 60 next to other light industrial businesses on property not served by city water or sewer, the news release says. Businesses in the area use individual wells and septic systems.
