ROGERSVILLE, Mo. -- The Missouri Department of Economic Development approved a $200,000 grant for the city to make infrastructure improvements that will help a company expand.  A news release says the project will provide "a safe, reliable source of potable water" for Mid-Am Metal Forming, which specializes in bending and forming metals for the architectural, aerospace and marine industries. Mid-Am Metal Forming is a mile east of Rogersville along Business Route 60 next to other light industrial businesses on property not served by city water or sewer, the news release says.  Businesses in the area use individual wells and septic systems.  Last September, Mid-Am discovered its well tested positive for E.coli bacteria, and the state told it to install a disinfection system, drill a new well or find an alternative source of water.

ROGERSVILLE, Mo. -- For the last month, 27 families in the Oakcrest Mobile Home Park have been surviving without running water.  Now the local fire department has been called in to help. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, firefighters with the Logan-Rogersville Fire Protection District haul 9,000 gallons of water out to the trailer park. "It usually takes two to three hours just to get three loads delivered out there," said Firefighter Kevin Grizzle. The supply only lasts a few hours before the well on the property is once again dry. "We really don't know.  We're waiting on the man in control of the well, which is Ken Boyer," said Gala Carrier, one of the landowners in the Oakcrest neighborhood.  Three weeks ago, Ken Boyer, the well manager, told KY3 News that he would have the well repaired within a day or two.  However, residents said Monday there had been no signs of progress.
