COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Running its streak of consecutive overall league titles to seven, the No. 5 University of Arkansas men's track and field team won the 2013 SEC Outdoor Championships this weekend in Columbia, Mo. With the help of five SEC event titles - all won Sunday - the Razorbacks finished the meet with 152.5 points to complete the program's second-consecutive SEC Triple Crown. The win also marks the 18 th SEC outdoor team title in program history, and third in a row for Arkansas.

NEW YORK -- Tyler Wilson heard his name called Saturday in the 2013 NFL Draft. The Oakland Raiders drafted the Arkansas Razorbacks quarterback in the fourth round. Wilson become the fifth quarterback selected in the draft. The senior had a record-breaking career at Arkansas. Wilson threw for 3,387 yards, 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in a senior season that began with aspirations of a national championship. The Hogs failed to make a bowl game in 2012. His first year as a starter under former head coach Bobby Petrino in 2011, Wilson shined by throwing for 3,638 yards, 24 touchdowns versus only six interceptions.

NEW YORK -- Knile Davis hopes his NFL career mirrors his sophomore season in college. The Kansas City Chiefs selected the former all-Southeastern Conference running-back from Arkansas with the 96th overall selection in the third round. He was the first Hogs player selected in the NFL Draft. Davis struggled in 2012, returning from breaking his ankle in preseason drills in the 2011 season He rushed for only 377 yards in a season that saw the Razorbacks go from a national title contender to missing a bowl game. Davis hopes to return to how he played as a sophomore. That season he rushed for 1,322 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. His play led Arkansas to a Sugar Bowl berth during that season.

MT. JUDEA, Ark. -- There is growing controversy over construction of a huge hog farm not far from the pristine waters of the Buffalo National River in Newton County. Both sides of this controversy love the beauty of the Buffalo. “There's a lot that this park has to offer, and certainly lives up to the reasons for its establishment,” said Buffalo National River superintendent Kevin Cheri. “We all like to hunt and fish, and we growed up in Big Creek and Buffalo," said C&H Farms co-owner Jason Henson.

GAINESVILLE, Ark. -- Junior Coty Clarke scored 18 points on 8-of-8 shooting for the University of Arkansas basketball team at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center in Gainesville, Fla., on Saturday evening in a 71-54 loss to the No. 5/4 Florida Gators. Arkansas (17-10, 8-6 SEC) had Florida (22-4, 12-2 SEC) close at the break, but an early rally after the break allowed the Gators to pull away and pick up the home win. “It was a tale of two halves,” Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson said. “We scratched and clawed and gave ourselves a chance, even with some adversity with the early fouls. In the second half, Florida really attacked the glass and we didn't make shots.

" Alex Collins committed to Arkansas over Miami, Florida State and Wisconsin on Monday night during a nationally televised college football recruiting show. LAMAR, Mo. -- The Arkansas Razorbacks land a potential walk-on from southwest Missouri. Lamar High School senior offensive lineman Austin Boice announced on Twitter Monday night he will attend the University of Arkansas. Rivals.com reports Boice will likely be a walk-on in his freshman season. "Well, just got done having a conversation with Coach Pittman from U of A, and made my decision to play at Arkansas, official," said Boice. The 6-7, 300-pound lineman had drawn interest from several area schools. Boice played both sides of the ball for the Tigers. Lamar won back-to-back Class 2 state championships in the lineman's junior and senior seasons.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- An estimated 10,000 feral hogs root up and roam the Ozarks, and the Missouri Conservation Department wants to get rid of them. Shoot 'em on sight, yes. Hunt them, no. A few years ago, they invaded Greg Stevens' property near Sparta. "They're a pretty big nuisance. They tear up the ground and eating all the acorns, turkey eggs; I think they kill deer fawns," Stevens told KY3 in 2009. He caught multiple wild hogs on his game camera. Some may be the products of free-range farming long ago. Others may have been illegally released.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- High expectations surround the Arkansas Razorbacks baseball program again in 2013. Collegiate Baseball ranks the Hogs as its preseason No. 1 team in the country. Arkansas finished 2012 with a 46-22 record that included a trip to the College World Series. The Razorbacks return one of the country's best pitching staffs in the country. Ten returning arms return to a staff that produced the second-lowest single-season ERA (2.83) in school history. The staff features ace, all-American Ryne Stanek. The Junior finished 2012 with an 8-4 record and a 2.82 ERA. Arkansas' offense returns six starters, including junior first baseman Dominic Ficociello and sophomore Brian Anderson.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- He's officially the next head football coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Bret Bielema and the university agreed Wednesday on a new six-year deal worth $3-point-2 million dollars. The deal also includes incentives up to $700,000 per year. Bielema's buyout clause is worth $3 million after the first season, declining by $500,000 per year throughout the life of the contract. Bielema coached the Wisconsin Badgers for seven seasons, leading the school to three straight bowl games.
