TODAY 70s Partly cloudy TONIGHT 50s Partly cloudy THURSDAY 70s Partly cloudy; isolated showers in central MO. 12-hour forecast 24-hour forecast 7-Day Forecast Pollen Count Satellite & Radar Almanac Good morning! The sky has begun to clear from the west this morning, and the trend should continue. The radar is clear, and I think we're in for a dry day. Readings are in the 50s this morning, and we'll see highs in the 70s today. Some upper energy could bring a few showers to central Missouri on Thursday, and then high pressure will bring lows as cold as the 40s on Friday morning. The weekend looks warmer again with highs either side of 80 all three days, but there is still a question about rain. Models disagree on the details of weak upper energy going through the plains up and over a ridge of high pressure. This is a pattern that can often bring southeastward-moving storm complexes, but the set-up doesn't look extremely favorable to me for the Ozarks. We'll try to get a bit more specific as we get closer to the weekend.

TODAY 30s/40s Variable clouds; not as windy. TONIGHT 20s Partly cloudy WEDNESDAY 40s/50s Becoming cloudy; a few showers late 12-hour forecast 24-hour forecast 7-Day Forecast Wind Chill Satellite & Radar Almanac Good morning! Clouds have cleared partially overnight, so we'll be seeing a bit of sun today. Cold air aloft will tend to cause clouds to develop overhead again this afternoon as we warm a bit, but this time it won't be a solid overcast. Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to the low 40s. The wind will flip to the southeast tonight as high pressure slowly slides east. Wednesday's highs will be up some, but clouds will quickly move in from the northwest so there may be a range from north to south. Moisture will initially be limited but it will gradually increase over the next few days. A few showers are possible late tomorrow, and then I have a chance of rain in the area every day through next week. The important thing to know is that it isn't going to rain steady at your location for six days. Multiple waves of energy and a couple of fronts will provide periodic chances for rain, and timing these is quite difficult very far out. Temperatures will continue to warm to near average by the weekend.
