ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Officials from Missouri and Illinois announced Thursday the Braggin' Rights game will continue for six more years through the 2016 season. Many consider the Mizzou-Illini game as one of the best in all of college basketball. COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou freshman wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham faces a one game suspension after he was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession in Columbia on Wednesday night, along with two teammates. Green-Beckham and freshman teammates Torey Boozer and Levi Copelin were arrested on suspicion of possessing 35 grams or less of marijauna after a campus policeman spotted a Lincoln Navigator in a parking lot at Memorial Stadium just before midnight and smelled an odor of marijuana.

In his four-years at Hillcrest, he broke the national record for career receiving yards. Now, he's at Mizzou catching passes for the Tigers and the Hornets need to regroup.

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Wearing his brand-new number 15 black, gold, gray and white jersey, Springfield's Dorial Green-Beckham looks the part at the Mizzou Tigers training camp. Tigers' camp opening with Dorial off the depth chart; something head coach Gary Pinkel says a freshman has to earn. Many Tiger fans packed Faurot Field hoping for an autograph from the nation's number-one recruit last spring. Dorial is taking the pressure and attention in stride. He was seen joking with teammates and graciously signing autographs for fans.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Dorial Green-Beckham is already the "big man on campus," literally. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound freshman wide receiver for the Missouri Tigers is earning the respect of his teammates after a month of workouts. "He's been working hard all summer," said Missouri Head Coach Gary Pinkel. "Some of the players that come by my office, they talk about Dorial, they talk about what a great kid he is. " Green-Beckham finished his career at Springfield's Hillcrest High School as one of the country's most decorated athletes ever. He broke the national high school football receiving yards record in 2011, ending with 6,536 yards. In his senior season, Green-Beckham caught 119 passes for 2,233 yards and 24 touchdowns. Last season, he led the Hornets to the Class Four quarterfinals, the best finish in school history. Add to his stellar stat sheet three-straight all-state Class Four basketball teams. And a state basketball championship his sophomore season.

The Springfield school board on Thursday approved the use of private funds to place artificial turf in the football stadiums at Glendale, Hillcrest, and Kickapoo, the only three public schools in the city without the synthetic surface. Parkview's JFK Stadium, which is scheduled to have its field resurfaced, and Central's Harrison Stadium, which it shares with Drury, already have artificial turf. Headed by district athletic director Mark Fisher, some $3.5 million has been raised for the project with the goal to raise about a half-million more.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Dorial Green-Beckham's trophy case is getting full. The Atlanta Touchdown Club awarded the Hillcrest High School senior its Bobby Dodd National High School Offensive Player of the Year award in Springfield Thursday. The selection committee admitted Green-Beckham was a no-brainer. "There really was not anybody else," said Atlanta Touchdown Club President Dennis Caniglia. "He just jumped out as being the best of the best. " Green-Beckham joins a long list of high profile names to earn the honor since its inception in 1987. That list includes Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. Green-Beckham says he is honored to be mentioned in that class.

In Columbia, the Republic Lady Tigers were the lone Missouri school to claim the trophy. Republic pulled out a victory in the waining moments of it's game against Smithville, 53-51.
