MONETT, Mo. -- City police are looking for a man who assaulted an 84-year-old woman last weekend. The assault was about 3 a.m. Saturday in a home in the northeastern part of the city. Police got a call about about the assault and found the woman lying on her bedroom floor. She told officers that a man pulled her from her bed and sexually molested her. He then took her purse and medic alert button. Police think the attacker was able to get into the home easily because the garage door was left up. Police say the woman's injuries are not serious.
