SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Crime Stoppers asks for help locating fugitive Melissa Rowe, who is wanted in Greene County on charges of tampering with a motor vehicle, forgery (four counts), passing bad checks and possession of a controlled substance. Rowe, 31, is white, 5-foot-11, and about 200 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She has tattoos on her left wrist, upper right arm, back and left chest. She has previously lived at various addresses in southwest Missouri and still has local ties.  People with information about this fugitive, or any other felony, can call Crime Stoppers at (417)

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Crime Stoppers and the Springfield Police Department ask for help identifying a robber who became violent when he was confronted by a store employee while he was shoplifting. The robbery was March 9 about 8:52 p.m. at the Walmart store at 3315 S. Campbell Ave. The man tried to shoplift small items by concealing them inside his jacket and walking out of the store. An employee confronted him and told him to go back inside.  The robber assaulted the employee and fled southbound on foot.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Crime Stoppers and the Springfield Police Department ask for help identifying the man who robbed a store at Battlefield Mall last fall.  The robbery was on Nov. 14, 2010, shortly before 6 p.m. at Zales Jewelry Store. The robber asked to see a ring from the case.  He then grabbed the ring from the employee’s hand and fled from the mall through the entrance near Ruby Tuesday restaurant.  The ring contained a 2-carat diamond valued at approximately $20,000.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Crime Stoppers and the Springfield Police Department ask for help identifying the man who robbed a Rapid Robert's store at 1655 S. Kansas Expressway on March 10 at 10:23 p.m. The robber showed a small black handgun and demanded money from the clerk. No photos or video is available. The robber is described as black, 5-feet to 5-feet-5 and around 130 pounds.  He was wearing sunglasses, gloves, a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and a white mask over the lower half of his face.  A silver colored Taurus was seen leaving the area soon after the robbery but police don't know if it's related to the robbery.
