Lola’s Spicy Glazed Walnuts 1 egg white 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 tablespoons ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground cloves 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1 tablespoon vanilla extract ½ tsp. almond extract 1 pound walnut halves 1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. 2. In a large bowl, beat egg white until foamy. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, vanilla and almond extract.

Mummy Meatloaf Foil Cupcake Liners 1 Batch of Your Favorite Meatloaf Recipe Mashed Potatoes Brown Gravy                                   Peas Mix up your favorite meatloaf and press 1/3 full into cupcake liners. Bake on a sheet pan until cooked through. Meanwhile, heat gravy and mashed potatoes. Remove meatloaves from oven and spoon about 2 tablespoons of gravy on top. Fill remaining space in cupcake liners with mashed potatoes.

From a contest in Iowa for the best egg recipes, this won second place.   Serves 4-6 6 eggs ¼ cup of water 1 teaspoon of minced garlic (fresh is okay but from the spice shelf is handier) 8 ounces (the large package) of cream cheese 1 (4-ounce) can of chopped green chilies, drained (They’re not hot!) 3 large (10-inch) flour tortillas 1 can (11 ounces or so) of Mexican style corn, drained (some brands call it “Fiesta” corn)

2 tubes of premade, precut croissant dough 2 cups of chocolate chips 1 jar of apricot preserves 1/2 cup of sugar Place some chocolate chips along the wide end of the croissant triangle. Roll up croissant, keeping chocolate on the inside. Brush with apricot preserves. Sprinkle with sugar and cook in a 400-degree oven until golden brown and crispy. This can be served with chocolate sauce or sweetened cream cheese. Recipe serves eight.

2 8-ounce packages of cream cheese 1 15-ounce can of pumpkin 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk 1 chocolate angel food cake, sliced or cubed 1 large container of whipped cream 4 ginger snaps 6 crushed ginger snaps Combine pumpkin cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk.  Whip until well combined.   Layer chocolate angel food cake, pumpkin mixture and whipped cream into parfait cups.  Spread whipped cream on the top of the cup.   Place one cookie in the whipped cream, and sprinkle crushed cookies over the top.  Refrigerate for 14 minutes.
