The Hogs play South Carolina (13-12, 5-5) on Wednesday night at 8 at Bud Walton Arena. Guard Devin Downey leads the Gamecocks and the SEC in scoring at nearly 23 points per game. The 5-foot-9 point guard catches everyone's attention on the court, similar to the Razorbacks' Courtney Fortson. Arkansas head coach John Pelphrey knows Downey makes his teammates better.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas' post-season hopes may depend on its first road victory. The Razorbacks (17-11, 5-8) will travel to play the Auburn Tigers (14-13, 4-9) Saturday.  Arkansas remains win-less on the road this season.  The Hogs have lost last five of its last six games.  That stretch included back-to-back losses at Bud Walton Arena, where the Hogs had been undefeated. The last loss against Alabama is typical of the late-season struggles for Arkansas.  Alabama used a 39-12 run to erase a double-digit deficit in the first-half to its own double-digit lead in the second-half.  The Razorbacks cut the lead to five points late, losing 79-68.
