Ham is a traditional dish for many Christmas dinners. If you're looking to zip it up, we've got help in Taste of the Ozarks. KY3 Chef Nicole Young joined Paul Adler this morning. Ingredients: * 4-5 lb cured ham *1 cup brown sugar *1tbsp allspice *2 tbsp minced garlic *Salt and pepper to taste *1/4'cup soy sauce *1tsp cinnamon Directions: Combine the brown sugar, allspice, garlic, salt and pepper, soy sauce and cinnamon in a bowl.

6 oz venison tenderloin(any piece of lean venison will work) 10 stips of bacon cut into thirds 1 green bell pepper julienned 1 red bell pepper julienned 1 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup water 30 toothpicks Cut the venison into one inch by one quarter inch strips. place one piece on venison, one piece of each color bell pepper piece onto one piece of bacon. Wrap the venison and bell pepper pieces in the bacon and secure with a toothpick.

3 Granny Smith apples, peeled cored and thinly sliced 2/3 cup of brown sugar 1 tsp of cinnamon 1 tbsp of apple pie spice 8-12 croissant dough triangles 1/2 cup of sugar in the raw Toss apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and apple pie spice. Place an equal portion of apple mixture in the center of each dough triangle. Starting at the end opposite the point of the triangle, roll croissant, trying to contain as much of the apple mixture as possible. Sprinkle each croissant with sugar in the raw. Bake on a grease cookie sheet at 400 degrees until golden brown.

Dip 16 ounces of cream cheese, room temperature ¼ cup of apple juice ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, packed 1 teaspoon of cinnamon ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg 1 teaspoon of vanilla 2 medium apples, chopped fine (1 red, 1 Granny Smith) ½ cup of toasted pecans, chopped Mix the cream cheese with brown sugar; add apple juice, stirring until smooth and creamy. Mix in remaining ingredients by hand until well blended. Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.

1 cup of butter 1 cup of light corn syrup 1 1/3 cups of brown sugar 2 cups of all-purpose flour 2 cups of finely chopped pecans Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, corn syrup and brown sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Toss together the flour and pecans and stir into the boiling mixture. Bring the mixture to a second boil before removing from heat.

3 cups of orange juice 2 cups of brown sugar 1 teaspoon of powdered ginger or 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon of white pepper 1/3 cup of corn starch and 1/3 cup of water, mixed Mix orange juice, ginger, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt and white pepper and bring to a boil. Thicken with the corn starch/water mixture. Add to drained canned sweet potatoes or fresh cut and cooked sweet potatoes in a baking dish.
