Overall, tourism leaders say business through the year was up slightly.  Numbers for 2011 are also predicted to show a slight increase.

BRANSON, Mo  -  A new record for a food pantry in Branson. Christian Action Ministries served a record-breaking 1500 families in January, that's double the monthly average from 2010. Food pantry officials say Branson's seasonal unemployment of around 22% led to the spike in January.  They say the increase in demand started back in 2009, when the pantry saw a 34% increase from 2008; a trend that has continued ever since. "That really makes it pretty astounding to us, but people are going back to work now so those numbers are dropping off slightly for us," says Executive Director Pat Davis.
