SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Two teenagers were charged on Friday afternoon for the shooting death of a 23-year-old man from Springfield on Wednesday evening.  Marquay Marshall, 17, and Darian Hall, 18, both of Springfield, are charged with second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action. Investigators were told Marshall and Hall arranged to buy marijuana from Trent Brewer, 23, of Springfield, but actually intended to steal the marijuana without paying for it.  During the transaction, detectives were told, Hall shot Brewer as Brewer tried to flee.  A police officer at the scene said it appeared Brewer was shot in his left arm and left side.

CAMDENTON, Mo. -- Investigators are waiting for autopsy results to confirm the identity of a person who died in a house fire early Sunday.  The victim was in a back bedroom of the home at 224 Wilkerson Avenue. Someone reported the fire about 1:50 a.m. after seeing a large amount of smoke.  A police officer found the burning home, but wasn't able to get inside it because of heavy smoke and fire.  The Camdenton Fire Department fought the fire with help from Mid County Fire Department.  The victim was found after the fire was out. An investigator for the State Fire Marshal's Office determined the fire started in the bedroom, near the bed.   Police hope the autopsy will determine the cause of death as well as the victim's name.
