FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas Razorbacks junior guard Julysses Nobles has decided not to return to the Arkansas Razorbacks for his senior season. Nobles started 54 of 91 games in his three seasons as a Razorback. The Jackson, Mississippi native averaged 7.1 points and dished out 2.9 assists per game over his career. "I have enjoyed my times as a Razorback," said Nobles. "After speaking with Coach Anderson, I feel it is time for me to move on. " Nobles played a significant role as an upperclassmen in the 2011-2012 season. He scored a career-high 24 points in an upset victory over No. 15 Mississippi State.

BALTIMORE, Md. - Arkansas Razorbacks linebacker Anthony Leon has inked a deal with the Baltimore Ravens. The 6'4", 220 pound linebacker played safety his first season as a Razorback. FORT WORTH, Texas - Former Arkansas Razorbacks basketball assistant Rob Evans has a new job. Texas Christian University Head Coach Jim Christian hired Evans as an assistant on his staff. Evans has coached on the Division 1 level for 42 seasons, including head coaching stints at the University of Mississippi and the University of Arizona. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Who says Arkansas is pass-happy? Razorbacks tailback Knile Davis has been named to the watch list for the Doak Walker Award, recognizing the country's top running back. The Missouri City, Texas junior rushed for 1,322 yards last season. Davis averaged 101 yards per game, scoring 13 touchdowns. He rushed for more than 100 yards six times in his sophomore season. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The 2012-2013 Arkansas Razorbacks will know quickly how good they are. The Hogs will play in the 2012 Continental Tire Las Vegas International Tournament at the Orleans Arena. The Tourney runs November 23-24. Creighton, Arizona State and Wisconsin are also invited. Both Creighton and Wisconsin played in the NCAA Tournament a season ago. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Arkansas Razorbacks will play the defending basketball national championships on national television. ESPN will broadcast the Arkansas-UConn game scheduled for Saturday December 3. The match-up in Storrs, Connecticut is part of ESPN's Big East-Southeastern Conference Challenge. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - It's another headline that paints Arkansas Razorbacks football in a negative light. Backup linebacker Tyler Gilbert faces burglary charges for his role in an apartment break-in last week. Police accuse Gilbert and two university students, Jesse Booker and Ryan Graves, kicked in the door of an apartment in Fayetteville. They are accused of stealing $285 worth of stuff. The Sorrento, Louisiana native is scheduled to go before a Washington County judge Friday. Gilbert is in his second season with the Razorbacks.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas Razorbacks reserve receiver Lance Ray is leaving the team. Ray made headlines in the off-season. The Havana, Florida native is facing charges for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance after his arrest on campus January 31st. Arkansas Head Coach Bobby Petrino did not allow him to go through Spring drills. Ray played mostly special teams last season as a redshirt freshman, returning 23 kickoffs for an average return of 22.5 yards.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Two Arkansas Razorbacks are ready to start their professional football careers later than they anticipated. Offensive lineman Ray Dominguez signed with the Green Bay Packers. Dominguez started for nearly three seasons on the Hogs line. He will join Razorbacks tight end D.J. Williams, drafted by the Packers in the NFL Draft. Cornerback Ramon Broadway will attempt to make the San Diego Chargers roster. The Shreveport native saw action all four seasons as a Razorback.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas Razorbacks fans will get a kick out of this. Place kicker Zach Hocker has been named to the Lou Groza Award watch list for the country's best kickers. The sophmore was perfect a perfect 56-56 on PAT's as a freshman. The Russellville, Arkansas native was 16-19 on field goals.
