COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Running its streak of consecutive overall league titles to seven, the No. 5 University of Arkansas men's track and field team won the 2013 SEC Outdoor Championships this weekend in Columbia, Mo. With the help of five SEC event titles - all won Sunday - the Razorbacks finished the meet with 152.5 points to complete the program's second-consecutive SEC Triple Crown. The win also marks the 18 th SEC outdoor team title in program history, and third in a row for Arkansas.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Four football players will not return to the University of Arkansas Razorbacks football program for the 2013 season. Backup senior quarterback Brandon Mitchell, junior wide receiver Keante Minor, sophomore defensive back Dafonta Lowe and senior defensive end Austin Flynn decided to transfer from the program. "After concluding post-spring meetings with every member of our team, Austin Flynn, Defonta Lowe, Keante Minor and Brandon Mitchell have been granted their release from the University of Arkansas football program," said Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema in a statement released Monday. "Through meetings with these student-athletes, a determination was made that it would be mutually beneficial for them to pursue their goals elsewhere.

NEW YORK -- Tyler Wilson heard his name called Saturday in the 2013 NFL Draft. The Oakland Raiders drafted the Arkansas Razorbacks quarterback in the fourth round. Wilson become the fifth quarterback selected in the draft. The senior had a record-breaking career at Arkansas. Wilson threw for 3,387 yards, 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in a senior season that began with aspirations of a national championship. The Hogs failed to make a bowl game in 2012. His first year as a starter under former head coach Bobby Petrino in 2011, Wilson shined by throwing for 3,638 yards, 24 touchdowns versus only six interceptions.

NEW YORK -- Knile Davis hopes his NFL career mirrors his sophomore season in college. The Kansas City Chiefs selected the former all-Southeastern Conference running-back from Arkansas with the 96th overall selection in the third round. He was the first Hogs player selected in the NFL Draft. Davis struggled in 2012, returning from breaking his ankle in preseason drills in the 2011 season He rushed for only 377 yards in a season that saw the Razorbacks go from a national title contender to missing a bowl game. Davis hopes to return to how he played as a sophomore. That season he rushed for 1,322 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. His play led Arkansas to a Sugar Bowl berth during that season.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- University of Arkansas sophomore guard BJ Young has declared his intention to enter the 2013 National Basketball Association Draft, Razorback head coach Mike Anderson announced on Thursday. Young, a 6-3 guard from St. Louis, Mo., submitted his name for consideration for the 2012 draft before ultimately deciding to return the Razorbacks. His second year in Fayetteville saw him average a team high 15.2 points, and also lead the team with 102 assists and 27.9 minutes played per game. Young shot 45 percent from the floor, averaged 3.5 rebounds per game and was No. 5 in the Southeastern Conference in scoring, No. 5 in field goal percentage and No. 9 in assists per game.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Freshman right-handed pitcher Trey Killian has been named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league office. A native of Mountain Home, Ark., Killian is the second Razorback to earn SEC Freshman of the Week honors this season. Freshman left-handed pitcher Colin Poche was also named SEC Freshman of the Week earlier in the year. Killian was dominant in his start in Arkansas' 8-2 win over San Diego State last Saturday, throwing seven no-hit innings and striking out seven to earn his second win of the season.

GAINESVILLE, Ark. -- Junior Coty Clarke scored 18 points on 8-of-8 shooting for the University of Arkansas basketball team at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center in Gainesville, Fla., on Saturday evening in a 71-54 loss to the No. 5/4 Florida Gators. Arkansas (17-10, 8-6 SEC) had Florida (22-4, 12-2 SEC) close at the break, but an early rally after the break allowed the Gators to pull away and pick up the home win. “It was a tale of two halves,” Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson said. “We scratched and clawed and gave ourselves a chance, even with some adversity with the early fouls. In the second half, Florida really attacked the glass and we didn't make shots.

The five-star running back from Plantation High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida signed his letter of intent Thursday. His father signed it, making it legal.
