CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Mo. - Two people suffered what the Highway Patrol describes as moderate injuries after a crash on U.S. Highway 65 south of Ozark Friday night.

The patrol says a trailer being towed by a 2003 Chevrolet 2500 swerved as the truck was passing a tractor-trailer on U.S. 65 southbound 10 miles south of Ozark. The trailer crossed the center of the road, struck the tractor-trailer then overturned; the truck pulling it struck the concrete barrier to the left side of the road.

The two people in the truck, William L. Lindsey, 50, and Joshua V. Lindsey, 18, of Lee's Summit, were taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt.

The crash backed up southbound traffic on U.S. Highway 65 for much of late Friday evening.
