At least two electricity providers in the Ozarks have reported scattered power outages this morning.
White River Valley Electric Cooperative said 2,000 people in the Branson and Ava areas were without electricity at roughly 8:30 a.m., but that number has since been reduced to roughly 700 as crews have worked to clear lines.
WRVEC said many power lines were down due to trees that had blown over during the night.
Empire District also reported scattered outages on its outage map, with the latest affecting roughly 100-250 customers in areas between Branson and Forsyth.
No power outages have been reported in Springfield thus far.
