SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Friends and family of an Arkansas man who fell 100 feet from a bluff last week will gather to pay their respects Wednesday.

Austin Elder's parents took him off life support Friday at a Springfield hospital.

Officials say the 19-year-old was camping with friends when he slipped from a cliff known as Hawksbill Crag.

Elder initially survived, but a Facebook page providing updates on his recovery told of a major setback late last week.

Elder's family says Austin was passionate about being an organ donor -- and they honored his wish over the weekend.
