FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - There's a new No. 1 in college football that should excite Arkansas Razorbacks fans.
The Razorbacks moved up two spots in this week's Associated Press poll to No. 8. The Hogs remain No. 10 in the coaches poll. Arkansas defeated Jacksonville State 49-24 to open the season.
The new No. 1 in both polls is the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tide rolled the then No. 7 Michigan Wolverines in the season-opener. Alabama will play at Arkansas in two weeks.
First, the Razorbacks return to action this Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe in Little Rock. Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m. on ESPNU.
