Homeowners can learn about healthy lawns at session on Tuesday in Springfield

The James River Basin is approximately 931, 000 acres or 1,455 square miles that contains portions of eight counties (Stone, Christian, Barry, Lawrence, Greene, Webster, Wright and Douglas).

On March 1, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources awarded a Clean Water Act Section 319 Grant for approximately $350,000 to James River Basin Partnership.  The grant will focus on improving water quality in the Pearson Creek Watershed (PCW). 

You are invited to a homeowners Healthy Lawns Make Healthy Watersheds Workshop at Darr Agricultural Center - Ballroom, 2401 S. Kansas Expressway, Springfield, MO 65807, on Tuesday Aug. 28.
