SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A Springfield man will be sentenced in October for his role with the Greenleaf Companies. A Greene County Judge convicted William Strong of securities fraud and unlawful merchandising practices.
The attorney general says the company misled clients about the ownership and financing of the homes they were selling. Two other officers have already pleaded guilty to similar charges, cases against three other officers are pending.
