The Minnesota Vikings report the former Arkansas Razorbacks wide receiver will likely miss his entire rookie season after tearing the patellar tendon in both knees. He will have surgery to repair the damage this week.
The Warren, Arkansas native tore a pattella tendon in his knee midway through his junior season.
Childs was a fourth-round selection of the Vikings in the NFL Draft in April.
