Branson police looking for suspect whose pickup hit pedestrian and fled

BRANSON -- Branson police are on the lookout for the person who allegedly hit a pedestrian on a sidewalk along Highway 76 and then fled the scene.

Police said the victim was hit Friday morning across the street from Grand Country.  The pedestrian was taken to a Springfield hospital with serious injures.

Authorities are searching for a white, late model, Ford pickup.
