SPRINGFIELD, Mo. --  One hundred more jobs are heading to downtown.  A call center just moved its operations into the old Yellow Bonnet building with 120 employees.   Sunrise Media Partners says it will hire 100 more.

Employees talk to people who have expressed an interest in furthering their education, then they hook them up with some 800 colleges across the country that would be a good fit, depending on what the person wants to study.

The new jobs pay anywhere from $8 an hour up to $20 per hour.

Sunrise just moved operations into the old Springfield Grocer building.  So far, employees say they love it, and say it's great for morale and should help with longevity.

"Typically, people would come in and apply and we would hire them, but they maybe wouldn't come back because of the facility.  Today, I think we're at 100 percent on our training class where the people who we hired keep coming back to work," said co-owner Steve Decker.

The jobs are for both full-time and part-time workers.  Amy Grimm has been with Sunrise for close to a one-and-a-half years.

"It works very well with my schedule.  I'm a mother of three children, so I'm able to get them on the school bus or get them to school and then I head to work, and I'm here in plenty of time.  Then I'm also off work by 4 p.m. and heading home -- so I'm home shortly after they get home which is great," Grimm said.

People who want to apply for one of those additional jobs can do so online at www.sunrisemediapartners.com.

You can also just walk in to the center, which is just off Boonville Avenue at Water Street, one block north of the square.

For business owners who might be interested in re-locating, Sunrise got a small business loan from the City of Springfield to help with the cost.  Decker says he's able to save a lot of money in rent downtown.
