GAINESVILLE, Mo. -- Authorities are questioning a woman for the stabbing death of a man Friday afternoon in southwestern Ozark County.
It happened near Dugginsville. About noon, Ozark Co. Sheriff's deputies were called to a home after an argument resulted in a 74-year-old man being stabbed. He was airlifted to a Springfield hospital, but died later in the afternoon.
Ozark Co. Sheriff Raymond Pace says his investigators took a 29-year-old woman at the scene into custody, but she has not been charged. He says more details might be released after an autopsy of the victim in Springfield on Saturday.
The victim's name will not be made public until family members can be notified.
