FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas' outstanding bullpen loses another standout.
Sophomore Nolan Sanburn signed a professional contract with theOakland A's. He was the 74th overall pick in the second-round of the 2012 Major League Draft.
"I am officially an Oakland A!." wrote Sanburn on Twitter after signing his deal. "So blessed and fortunate to be in the position I'm in! Thanks to God and everyone who made my dream a reality!"
The Kokomo, Indiana native pitched in 22 games a season ago. He recorded a 4-1 record with a 2.41 ERA. Sanburn did not allow a run in five postseason appearances, including an appearance in the College World Series.
