Searching For Rain

A couple of pop up storms have developed over the Ozarks today but they have been very few and really far between.  Whatever rain is still left and that is not much will die off before sunset this evening.  Rain will be pretty scarce again on Friday as the overall weather pattern will not change much.  Saturday however is a different story.  Slight higher humidity plus a weak upper level disturbance will produce a few more showers than the past couple of days.  I still think the activity is going to be very scattered so consider yourself lucky if you get rain.

Hot and Dry

Much of the Ozarks will stay with the dry weather pattern we have been having so far this summer.  The upper level ridge builds back over the Ozarks by early next week.  This should send temperatures back into the middle and upper 90s and minimize our rain chances.
