WAYNESVILLE, Mo. -- A man from Dixon who had three no-bond warrants is jailed after being charged with stealing a truck from the Pulaski County Water Service District on Wednesday.

Chad Lange, 38, faces charges of second-degree burglary and theft of a motor vehicle after Pulaski County deputies found a Public Water Service District #3 truck parked at the home of Lange's ex-wife.

Deputies initially responded to the water district office on a burglary call and found the front door forced open and the truck missing.  Deputies then canvassed the neighborhood and spoke with people who saw a man on an all-terrain vehicle near the building.  Others told deputies that they saw a man matching Lange's description with the truck, a 2001 Dodge pickup.

Deputies went to the home of the suspect’s ex-wife and found the stolen Dodge truck parked there.  Sheriff J.B. King says Lange admitted he took the truck.

Lange also had three active no-bond warrants from Pulaski Circuit Court for second-degree assault second, driving with a revoked license, and disturbing the peace.  Lange likely will face those charges in court as well.
