HEAT ADVISORY CONTINUES TODAY
Temperatures are off and running late this morning. By 11:00 a.m. most locations in the Ozarks were already in the 90s. It is going to be another very hot afternoon for much of the country including the Ozarks as upper level high pressure remains in control. High temperatures are expected to make it back into the triple digits so a Heat Advisory continues until 7:00 p.m. today.

T-STORMS IN THE FORECAST
Thunderstorms are possible today and tonight in our hot, humid and unstable air mass. Relief from the heat is on its way in the form of a cold front that is expected to bring cooler weather all of next week and another chance for storms tomorrow and even on Monday, especially to the south on Monday.

Organized severe weather is not expected from thunderstorms but a few stronger storms could produce strong winds, frequent lightning and heavy rain in isolated locations.

COOLER WEATHER ARRIVES!
The cold front will work its way through southern Missouri and northern Arkansas late this weekend. Tomorrow will still be hot but not as hot with highs in the low to mid 90s. Near average temperatures are then in the forecast all of next week with lows in the mid 60s and highs in the upper 80s!
