Lisa graduated from Christian Schools of Springfield and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. Lisa began her career at KODE-TV in Joplin, Mo. She worked there for four years as a general assignment reporter, eventually anchoring the six and ten o'clock newscasts.
Lisa moved back to Springfield and began her career at KY3. Here she has reported and anchored weekday evenings, noon, and weekend newscasts. Most recently, medical reporting has become a special area of interest.
Lisa's sincere love of life is deeply rooted in family. Lisa is the second of five children (three brothers and a sister) and has 14 nieces and nephews. Born in Joplin, she was raised all over the country. Her father's career as a minister and an iron worker led them to Michigan, Tennessee, Texas, and Oregon but Springfield always felt like home. Her mother managed the full-time job of raising five kids, attended college herself and ran her own successful business.
