Good morning! History-making temperatures occurred yesterday over the region with highs as hot as 109 in Mountain Home. The upper ridge of high pressure will weaken just slightly today and allows temperatures to come down slightly. This will still mean highs over 100 for most of the area, with near 100 likely in the Springfield area. Highs will likely be at least in the upper 90s this weekend for Springfield with other locations just over 100. Next week the ridge will continue to be in control and highs will be in the 90s to near 100.
