COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou student-athletes are getting it done in the classroom.

The University of Missouri leads the Big 12 in five sports in the NCAA's annual Academic Progress Rates or APR.  APR measures academic progress and performance of athletic programs.  The score is counted over four academic years.

Mizzou football ranks second in both the Big 12 and the Southeastern Conference.   It scored a 972 out of a 1,000 point scale.  Women's gymnastics and women's golf scored a perfect score.  The school has ranked either first or second since the NCAA developed the scoring scale in 2004.

Missouri joins the SEC July 1.
