Missouri Tigers: Mizzou survives elimination with late rally against New Mexico State

TUCSON, Ariz. - Mizzou survived elimination for at least one more game.

The No. 4 seeded Missouri Tigers used a six-run eighth inning to beat the No. 2 seeded New Mexico State aggies 6-2 in the elimination game of the Tuscon regional.  Mizzou will play another elimination game Sunday night.

Scott Summerfield's triple was the key hit of that five-run inning.  Sommerfield was three-for-four with three RBIs.  Mike McGraw added two hits, scoring twice for Mizzou. 

Jeff Emens earned the victory for Mizzou, throwing three shutout innings in relief.
