Salvation Army tees up fundraiser for tornado relief in Branson

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The 76 for 76 Golf Tournament is Monday, May 21, at Millwood  The tournament will benefit the Salvation Army's Branson corps.

The EF-2 Leap Day Tornado damaged the Branson Salvation Army building and a vehicle. The storm left behind $170,000 in damage.

Before you sign up for the tournament, KY3's Paul Adler got some tips (see video) from Chris Obert, the PGA director of golf at Millwood.

Here's more information from the Salvation Army:

Registration for the four-person scramble begins at 12:30 p.m. followed by a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.  Registration is $76 per player or $300 per team and includes the cart rental, range balls and a meal.  In addition to Par 3 and putting contests, there will also be prizes given for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

Millwood Golf and Racquet Club is at 3700 E. Millwood Drive.
