NEW YORK CITY - The Jeff Fisher-era begins with a big presence in the middle of the defensive line.
The St. Louis Rams chose LSU defensive tackle Micheal Brockers with the No. 14 pick in the NFL Draft Thursday. The Rams traded the No. 6 pick to Dallas Cowboys shortly before the selection.
Brockers starred on the defensive front for the Tigers. The 6'5", 322-pound lineman brings versatility, either lining up in the middle or on the end. He has the athleticism to even play linebacker in the league.
The Rams will begin day two of the NFL Draft tomorrow night with the first and seventh selections in the round.
