SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Several gas stations, in and around Springfield, are beginning to see a slight downward shift in the price of fuel within the past 24 hours.
It's not a huge price drop, but according to MissouriGasPrices.com, several stations in the Queen City have gone from $3.59 per gallon of regular unleaded fuel to $3.57. This comes after weeks of being seemingly locked in at $3.59 per gallon.
The lowest price, $3.51 per gallon, was reported at Sam's Club at South Campbell and El Camino Alto.
Several stations in Nixa are currently selling gas for $3.54/gallon; Ozark's average price is $3.58, and Republic had two stations at $3.55 and $3.57, respectively.
