Social Networking 101 (Beginners):
This workshop is aimed at business owners who want to use social networking to promote their business, but just don't know how to get started. Our experts will show you the basics from how to set up and maintain a Facebook page to which online promotions are the most effective. You'll get hands on tips and hear success stories from local businesses. This workshop will take place Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 8am-9:3am in the Michael Scott Community Room (inside KY3 Inc.) at 999 W. Sunshine St. in Springfield.
Social Networking 201 (Advanced):
During this workshop (via webinar), you will learn how to take the promotion of your business on social networking to the next level. Learn about search engine optimization, online couponing, QR codes, online contests and more. Plus, hear from Steven Wyer, author of "Violated Online" about how to protect yourself from online slander that could destroy your good reputation. This session will take place via webinar from 3-4:30pm on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
