OZARK, Mo. -- Good Friday is the day that Christians commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ at Calvary.  One family here put on a production to mark the day.

They raised a 33-foot cross.  Darrell Tonsing played the part of Jesus.  His wife, Christina Tonsing, acted as one of the weeping women listed in the Bible. Others acted as the centurion soldiers.

"We wanted to do something that would honor the Lord, remember Jesus’ sacrifice. He came down here and took our punishment,” said Christina Tonsing.

Tonsing stayed on the cross that he made for six hours on Friday.  He works as a tree trimmer and a part-time pastor.
