Habitat for Humanity to kick off "Six by Six" home build project

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Habitat for Humanity Springfield has announced the kickoff of three new homes to be built in Springfield's Legacy Trails subdivision.

The "Six by Six" Challenge will bring together Habitat staff and volunteers along with event sponsors from 6 to 7 p.m. tonight for a kickoff event at 3801 N. Farm Road 143.

The public is welcome to attend and learn about the project, as well as how they can volunteer.
