Nixa School District bus involved in minor collision

NIXA, Mo. - A school bus from the Nixa School District was involved in a minor collision this morning, the district says, but no students were injured.

The collision occurred this morning at the intersection of U.S. Highway 160 and State Route 14 when a driver bumped the back of the bus, according to the district. Students were taken to Espy Elementary School where parents were allowed to pick up their children.

Parents who did not pick up their children will receive a phone call from the school.

The bus sustained minor damage, the district said.
