Lead Hill, Ark. is not merging with Ozark Mountain district

LEAD HILL, Mo. -- The Arkansas Board of Education has narrowly rejected a proposed merger of Lead Hill's School with the larger and combined Ozark Mountain district.
Board members who opposed it said Lead Hill students would travel too far to another campus and was not efficient.
Lead Hill adjoins the Bergman district, which is closer, and could be a possibility.
