12-year-old driver rolls car

Flown to Sprinfield hospital with serious injuries

LAMPE, Mo. --  A 12-year-old boy from Blue Eye, Missouri rolled the car he was driving and had to be pried out using the jaws of life.  The boy was flown from the scene to a Springfield hospital with serious injuries.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says the boy was trapped after the car he was driving rolled off Alyeska Point Road near Lampe in Southern Stone County and wrapped around a tree.  There were no other occupants in the car.
