Arkansas Razorbacks: "Senior Night" against Ole Miss likely make-or-break post-season hopes

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The "Senior Night" festivities will not take long this year.

Fans will say goodbye to seniors Marvelle Waith and Michael Sanchez Tuesday night when the Arkansas Razorbacks host the Ole Miss Rebels.  The Hogs have lost back-to-back games at Bud Walton Arena, after winning the first 17 games.

Tip-off is at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN-U.

News and Notes:

Finally: The win at Auburn was Arkansas' first road victory of the season.  The Razorbacks were the last Division One school above .500 to win on the road.

Rebound Game:  Arkansas ranks 277 of 338 among Division One schools in rebounding margin at -3.1 per game.   Ole Miss out-rebounded Arkansas in the first meeting 48-26.

Hanging on to Post-Season Hope:  Arkansas road victory at Auburn pushed its RPI to No. 82.  Ole Miss is ranked No. 70.  Saturday's opponent Mississippi State ranks No. 65.

"I'm more in for our guys because they worked extremely hard, and for them to actually finish off a game in the fashion that they did, I'm more proud of them," said Anderson.  "Hopefully it's a sign of more things to come for our basketball program."
