SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Fans of Brad Paisley can get up close and personal to the country music star next week, if they're the lucky winners of a contest benefiting Ozarks Food Harvest.
Beginning on Wednesday, February 22nd, the Ozarks Food Harvest will collect donations from fans who want their name entered into a drawing for two VIP tickets and meet-and-greet passes for the February 25th Brad Paisley concert at JQH Arena. A $10 donation to Ozarks Food Harvest or a donation of 10 non-perishable food items will be good for one entry into the contest. There is no limit on the number of entries.
Donations will be accepted at Ozark Food Harvest, 2810 N. Cedarbrook from 8:30 am to 4 pm from Wednesday Feb. 22 through Friday, Feb. 24. Donors should enter on the north side of the facility.Donations will also be accepted the day of the concert at the JQH Arena from 2:45pm until 5:30 pm, Saturday, Feb. 25th. Donors should look for the Ozarks Food Harvest Mobile Food Pantry truck and food bank volunteers. The winner will be drawn and called at 5:45 pm on Saturday, Feb. 25th. Tickets will have to be picked up outside JQH Arena. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the show beginning at 7:30 pm.
A listing of most needed food items can be found at ozarksfoodharvest.org/fooddrive.html. Examples include canned meats like tuna, boxed meals like macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and canned fruit. Glass containers or expired food will not be accepted.
