EUREKA SPRINGS, Ark. -- It's not every day that a castle is for sale. The Castle Rogue's Manor just outside of town is on the market for $1.8 million.

"It's a constant attraction.  People are always driving by it. This bluff called out for a castle and somehow I got the calling," said builder and designer Smith Treuer.

It's a 17-acre estate.  European, Asian, and Russian influence are all over the château.  Treuer spent nearly 20 years making his vision a reality.

There are eight buildings and 23 bathrooms and it has the potential to have 20 bedrooms.

"People have flown in from different parts of the country to look at it.  It's generated interest in the area and in the project of the castle," said Treuer.

Treuer says he is selling because he wants to retire.

"I'm 67 years of age and ready to enjoy a real retirement.  I want to turn it over to someone younger who shares the vision," he said.

The castle is used as a place for weddings and other special events. While they've had several lookers, no one has placed a bid.
