FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Even the Razorbacks admit they are a different team at Bud Walton Arena.

Freshman BJ Young scored 27 points to lead the Arkansas Razorbacks (17-8, 5-5) to a 76-65 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks (9-15, 1-9) Saturday.  The Hogs set a new record for victories at Bud Walton Arena with 17.

Young made his minutes count in the first-half.  He scored 16 points off the bench, sparking a 11-0 run to end the half with a 38-27 lead.  The Razorbacks scored the first six points of the second-half to take a commanding lead.  Arkansas built that lead up to 23 late in the second-half.  South Carolina would not go away.  The Gamecocks used a 16-0 run to cut the Razorbacks lead to 68-61 with 2:39 to play.  Young then hit four-straight free throws to pull Arkansas away again.
