Family ask Springfield police to help them find Billy Joe Harris

Family and friends haven't seen or heard from him in more than 3 weeks.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- City police seek the public’s assistance in locating Billy Joe Harris.  No one has reported seeing Harris since Jan. 15.  His mother reported him missing on Jan. 26.

Harris has no known address in Springfield and often stays with friends in the Springfield and Rogersville areas.  Harris does not own a vehicle.  Harris’ family and friends have told police it is unusual for him not to have personal or phone contact with them for this length of time.

Harris, 28, is white, 5-foot-10, and 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.  He has a tattoo of a star on his left shoulder and a tattoo on his left arm of the letter A.
