$62 million bond issue to rebuild Joplin schools will be on the April 3rd ballot

JOPLIN, Mo. -- A $62 million bond issue to rebuild six Joplin schools destroyed by the tornado will be on the April 3rd ballot.

The Joplin school board unanimously approved the proposal Monday morning during a special session.

It's estimated the price tag will be around $185 million.  Insurance is covering $85 million of reconstruction and repairs.
